ABOUT ME AND MY STORE

Hi, my name’s Charlie Kinross and I’m a photographer based in Melbourne, Australia. I work primarily as a commercial photographer for various publications, media, theatre groups and government organisations and I dedicate my spare time to travelling and taking pictures.

After doing a few exhibitions and getting a lot of requests for framed prints I wanted to streamline the process and make my work more readily available with a simple online store where a print could be bought and delivered with free shipping Australia Wide.

It was important to me that this be done without compromising on quality and keeping the approach as sustainable as possible so it took some time trying different options before I found the right local printer and framer. All frames are hand made locally in Melbourne from sustainably sourced Australian hardwood and with exceptional fine art craftsmanship.

The work I have curated for this site is primarily landscapes and urban locations I’ve captured on my travels. If you keep an eye on the site I’ll be updating it with a new series every now and then, as often as I can get out into the world to capture more. ABOUT THE FINE ART PRINTING & FRAMING

All framing is done by hand in Melbourne with the highest quality gallery grade materials. The frames are made from locally sourced, sustainable, Australian hardwood. The 3mm Plexiglass used is museum grade. It protects the print from UV fade, is far lighter than glass and shatterproof for longevity. It is a much higher quality than the flimsy perspex you might find in a store bought frame.

The print itself is on a 300 gsm 100% cotton rag or a Premium Lustre photographic stock using genuine Epson Ultrachrome Pro inks on the latest Epson P20070 printer. Your giclee print will be dry mounted to an acid free 5mm foam board using an archival adhesive film.

All framed prints are safely packaged and hand delivered to your door ready for hanging.
